ADEMOLA B. ALADEKOMO is the founder and Managing Director of CHAMS Plc, the leading IT company with special focus on card technologies. He started CHAMS, 20years ago, as the first indigenous computer maintenance outfit. Over the years, the company has pioneered many new technologies and provided intelligent solutions to a wide range of public and private initiatives. Some of his achievements in the field of IT practice include the first wide-area-network on PCs in Nigeria, the first company to venture into card technologies in Nigeria, the Guinness Book of Records recognition for Chams City Innovation.

Also, with a commitment and passion to provide solutions that lead to the enhancement of the living standards of the Nigerian people, he leads the team that won the concession on the Identity Card Management Program in Nigeria among other trail blazing efforts in Nigeria.

Mr. Aladekomo is acknowledged as the brain behind the success of the ValuCard project. He is a fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society (FNCS), a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and fellow of the Computer Professional Registration Council (CPN) He was part of the first Chief Executives Program at the Lagos Business School. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Volunteer Corps as well as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of SmartCard Society of Nigeria.

 

ADESOLA OMOTAYO is the General Manager, Public Sector, Chams. She joined Chams in 1996 and was deployed to market the company’s product suites and later became the Head of the Terminal and Printers department. Whilst heading the Terminals and Printers department she worked on the major government tenders and execution of awarded national contracts like the INEC voters’ registration card, and the continuous voter’s registration card, the National identity management systems, PENCOM Cards, NHIS cards, FRSC driver’s license.

Mrs. Omotayo is a graduate of University of Jos with B.A in English. She also holds a Master Degree in International Law and Diplomacy and also a member of Nigeria Institute of Public Relation.

 

ADESOLA BICKERSTETH is the General Manager Chams City. He is the leads the team of seasoned innovative minds in positioning ChamsCity in the Nigerian and International Market. He is a seasoned Internet Specialist who has distinguished himself professionally in the ICT Industry and e-Commerce arena over the past eleven years. Before joining Chams, he has worked on major international and local project like the implementation of the Electronic Payment System (eNaira) for National eGovernment Strategies in 2006 as well as the Implementation of a secure IP Network for IMF & CBN in 2004. He had earlier worked on the Construction of an International satellite internet hub for Nigeria in partnership with Viasat Inc. in Atlanta in 2002 and the set up of the Backbone Infrastructure for Public Service Network (PSnet) by NITDA in 2003 (Abuja, Oyo, Ekiti, Plateau) and he developed the online payment solution by the SMARTPAY consortium of Nigerian Banks in 1999.

Mr. Bickersteth is a graduate of Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State  and member of  Nigerian Internet Group (NIG),  African ISP Association (AFRISPA),  African Network Information Centre (AFRINIC)  and Global VSAT Forum  (GVF).

 

JULIET EHIMUAN is the General Manager, Chams.Net. Juliet holds an Executive MBA from the London Business School, a Post Graduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, UK; and a Bachelors degree (1st class honours) in Computer Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She is a recipient of the London Business School Global Women’s Scholarship, and at Cambridge University she received two scholarly awards - Selwyn College Scholar and Malaysian commonwealth Scholar.
She has experience in Business Transformation and Skills development, Program and Business Management, and Information Management. She worked with Microsoft UK for 6 years, initially as a Program Manager managing Strategic Projects for MSN Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).  She received the Microsoft “Ship-IT” award for successfully launching the new MSN online subscription business in the UK, Spain, Italy, and Germany. As Business Process Manager for the MSN Global Sales and Marketing organisation, she coordinated Financial and Business Planning reviews for MSN subsidiaries in 15 countries across Asia, Latin America, Europe, and Africa.
Juliet is a pioneer member of the African Computer Network for Developing Countries sponsored by the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy in 1995. This project started the Nigerian Universities Network (NuNET) initiative. She also worked with the Shell Petroleum Development Company as a Performance Monitoring and Quality Assurance Supervisor from 1995 - 1997.
In 2005, she left Microsoft to start SI (Strategic Insight) Consulting Ltd UK, focused on providing collaborative programs that connect African Business leaders and Professionals with their global counterparts. The SI team clients are made of an eclectic mix of organisations including MSN, BP (British Petroleum), Royal Bank of Scotland, Ericsson, Fujitsu, Zurich Insurance, Unilever, and Harvard Business School alumni club, representatives from all banks in Nigeria, the Central bank of Nigeria, and the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation.

 

OLAYINKA IKIEBE is the DGM & Head, Internal Audit Department. She is responsible for managing the Audit department which serves Chams and its subsidiaries. She is also responsible for ensuring adequate internal controls systems by monitoring total compliance with company policies and procedures. She assumed the position in August, 2008.

Mrs. Ikiebe is a graduate of Sociology and Anthropology (B.Sc) from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife), she is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Yinka has 21 years of audit experience, 13 of which is from the reputable Firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Prior to joining Chams Plc she set up and headed the Internal Audit Department in Intercellular Nig. Plc (an indigenous telecom company). She is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor.

 

FUNKE ALOMOOLUWA is the Chief Account Officer of Chams. She joined CardCentre Nigeria Limited (A a subsidiary of Chams) in 2005 as Head, Finance and Administration. She was later promoted to DGM (Finance & Administration), where she was responsible for managing and formulating policies on the company’s finance, account and administrative functions. As Chief Accounting Officer of Chams, she manages the centralized Group Accounting Unit, while also providing exceptional leadership and direction to the Accounting units of Chams Plc and this earned her the Manager of the Year Award (2008).

Mrs. Alomooluwa is presently running the Lagos Business School executive MBA programme. However she bags a Computer Science and Economics degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and she is also an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She trained as an auditor at the BDO Oyediran Faleye Oke & Co (Chartered Accountants) for five years, where she was privileged to lead the audit of various sectors of the economy.

 

ODUKOYA AJIBOLA OLAYINKA is the Chief Finance Officer of Chams. He joined PayMaster Limited ( a subsidiary of Chams) in 2005 as the head of Finance and Admin. He was the Financial Controller of the First, Foremost and leading ISP Linkserve Limited. Yinka has over 15 years work experience in Financial Strategy, Audit and Accountancy. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a 1992 Bachelor of Science graduate of Zoology from Ogun State University. He has spent the past 5 years in senior managerial positions, with strong audit background having worked in Akintola Williams Deloitte Touche & Co. between 1993 & 1997. He is a result-oriented team player who is creative, adaptive and resourceful with a focus on organizational goals and targets. Good computer knowledge and eager to learn more on existing and new technologies.

 

OMOYEMI OLULEYE is the Head, Human Capital Development of Chams Plc. A seasoned Human Resource Specialist with Nine years experience in formulating and implementing various HR transformation projects for different organizations in diverse capacities. Omoyemi specializes in Change Management, Business Process Re-engineering, Quality Management, Adoption of Best practices programmes for different sectors of the business. She has championed a lot of organizational change initiatives in her career years. As a Human Capital Development professional, she thrives in training, recruiting, career development, managing and monitoring organizational performance using tools such as the Balanced Scorecard and robust Performance Management System that embraces all aspect of the business. She is the Management Representative of the company on Total Quality Management Systems. She started her career with the Honeywell Group before joining Chams Plc. A member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, Omoyemi holds a bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State.

 

IDOWU LOGILE Esq. is the Head of Corporate Services of Chams. He commenced his working career in Chams in 1990 and by dint of hard work; dedication to duty and loyalty was granted a scholarship to study Law. ID, as he is fondly called, studied Law at the Famous Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife where he won the Amicable Insurance Prize for the best graduating student in the Law of Insurance in the year 1998. He was called to the Bar in 2003. His 16 years work experience have enabled him to traverse various departments in the company, thereby handling several issues relating to protocol, marketing, administration and legal for the company.

 

SENI SADARE Engr. is the Facility Manager for Chams. He is responsible for the Development and Management of all Chams Facilities and Properties Nationwide (including the Various ChamsCity Centres).  Engr. Sadare holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Lagos State University and was awarded best graduating student in Production Engineering. His experience in engineering practice started with the Oil Industry as a Marine Officer with Texaco Overseas Petroleum Co. Unlimited (TOPCON now Chevron-Texaco), he later joined ABB Lummus Global Engineering Ltd as a Field Engineer (Flow-line Construction) – Shell Western Division from where he was recruited into the Nigerian Nuclear Programme as an Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineer at the Ultra-modern Gamma Irradiation Facility of the Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission. He has attended several training courses both within and outside the country and is a stickler for Safety Standards and Best Practices with Certifications in Radiation Protection from Gamma Service Produktbestrahlung, Radeberg, Germany and a Certified Operator of a 340KCi Cobalt-60 Source Gamma Irradiation Facility from Areva, Erlangen, Germany. He is a Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE), an Associate Member of the Materials Society of Nigeria (MSN) and is a Registered Engineer of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
